Help Give Newborns the Gift of Sight!

Eisenhower Health's Family Birth Center is in need of a critical piece of equipment called the RetCam Envision. This game changing technology provides high-resolution imaging of retinal blood vessels, allowing clinicians to identify blood flow issues, leaking vessel defects, and neovascularization. For newborns - especially preemies, who require weekly testing, early detection can mean the difference between sight and blindness, preventing long-term issues that might go undetected until their first vision testing in primary school.

Valentina was born prematurely at 28 weeks, she was diagnosed with a critical eye condition detected early thanks to the RetCam Envision. Timely treatment saved her sight and today she is thriving and exploring the world with her bright healthy eyes.

In 2021, Eisenhower reopened our Family Birth Center and have delivered over 4,000 babies to date. Recently we were named a 2025 High Performing Hospital for Maternity Care by U.S. News & World Report. This is the highest award a hospital can earn as part of the annual Best Hospitals for Maternity Care study and reflects our unwavering dedication to exceptional, patient-centered care for mothers and babies.

Thanks to a generous lead gift, we're now just $34,000 away from fully funding this critical technology. Your support can help make this life-changing equipment a reality.
