Coachella Valley Community Trust Collaborative

About the Organization

CVCT has a long history of serving the community. We were established in 1995 as an alternative way to address the problem of gangs in the east valley recruiting youth and negatively impacting our community. Seven volunteers serve on the CVCT board of directors, and we employ one ½ time administrative assistant. Over 95% of all funds received go to directly supporting the youth and families of our community.
CVCT operates as a collaborative. "We are better together". It is a simple concept with a profound impact. Bringing the community together is the best approach to solve the challenges we face. It is even more apparent today. When you support the Collaborative, you are supporting individual families. When you support the collaborative, you are supporting other non-profits in the community with meeting their goals. When you support the collaborative, you are connecting the unmet need to the appropriate resource.
Strong relationships are vital to our success. We are the catalyst that brings over 30 nonprofit organizations and agencies together to provide after school Kids Clubs programing, juvenile crime prevention and diversion, and other youth development programs.
