The tourism and hospitality industry serves as the primary economic driver of the Greater Palm Springs community, employing one out of every four residents. Foundation programs include college scholarships to local students pursuing degrees in hospitality, supporting industry mentorship and internship programs, and providing grants to cities for projects that enhance the visitor experience or advance accessibility, sustainability, diversity, equity, or inclusion in our community. Tourism Foundation programming and activities are made possible by the generous support of our donors. In 2022, the foundation was able to expand it's scholarship giving to local students, and develop robust workforce development programs through partnerships with One Future Coachella Valley and College of the Desert PaCE,.
