Since 2018, The Exception has been providing programs and support groups throughout California primarily focused on people of color in underserved communities. Through mentorship, case management, and community partnerships we have created a wrap-around model which offers resources to support participants in improving their quality of life. We service 100+ participants annually via Zoom and in person at seven locations, utilizing the facilities of our community-based partners. In providing these resources, The Exception is committed to reducing generational systemic poverty and violence in these communities.
