This core value defines everything we do from skill-building programs to providing compassionate support through respite care for caregivers. In the past year, UCPIE has provided 252 hours of virtual activities, 148,493 hours of in-home respite care support, and 455 hours of virtual counseling to 500 families across the Inland Empire. The Skill Builders After School Program is also back in-person at locations across the Coachella Valley.

Since 2012, UCPIE has given away 150 custom adaptive bikes to individuals with mobility disabilities to help them with their physical therapy goals and include them in the community. Team Freedom is the largest team of individuals with special needs in a non-competitive cycling event in the United States, the Tour de Palm Springs.
